Children’s nurse Francesca Lennon is taking on a monumental challenge: cycling a staggering 3,200 miles across the entire UK to raise funds and awareness for the critical role of children’s hospice care.
Her incredible journey will see her visit all 54 of the country’s children’s hospices, which provide invaluable support and care for families facing unimaginable hardship. Across the UK, a network of hospices cares for 99,000 seriously ill children. These hospices are struggling financially, making fundraising essential for them to continue their vital work.
Francesca has founded the charity ChatUK54 specifically for this challenge. All funds raised will go to the children’s palliative care charity Together for Short Lives.
Francesca has been a dedicated supporter of the Patrick Evans Foundation for many years, participating in their P4P events and taking on numerous challenges for various charities. The foundation is proud to sponsor her awe-inspiring endeavor for such an important cause.
