Plod for Patrick12/06/2011
On Sunday 15th May a group of supporters took part on a two and a half hour walk in the scenic Sussex countryside and raised £130 for the Foundation in the process.
The walk started at 10am in the car park in Dover Lane near Arundel, on the north side of the A27 just to the east of Arundel. The views were spectacular; at one point we were able to see the sea in one direction and Arundel Castle in the other. A celebratory Pub lunch took place in a pub in the aptly named village of Patching.
It was a very enjoyable day out and we have had positive feedback from all Plodders. Thanks to everyone who took part, including all dogs and a big thankyou for Timmy for managing to get through the day without injuring any of the other canine plodders (just!!)
We would like to say a special thankyou to Martin Folkes for suggesting and organising Plod 4 Patrick.
